As many of my fellow 80s babies can remember, one of our childhood heroes was none other than Rocky Balboa. His story of the underdog fighting against all odds and eventually rising to victory has always resonated deeply with us.

But as I’ve grown into adulthood, I’ve realized that Rocky’s legacy is about much more than fight scenes or feats of strength. What truly stays with me is the message behind his story.
